Self Identity

The English Literature Undergraduate Study Program was originally called the Anglo Saxon Department, which graduated students up to the Bachelor level. The permit for the establishment of the Bachelor of English Literature Study Program was issued through SK DIKTI No. 106/Dikti/Kep/1984 dated 21 April 1984. The Bachelor of English Literature Study Program is under the auspices of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Diponegoro University and all activities of the Literature Study Program English at the UNDIP Campus Jl. Professor Soedharto Tembalang. This Study Program has experienced a lot of progress in various fields of Higher Education’s Tri Dharma.

Vison

The vision of the Bachelor of English Literature Study Program FIB UNDIP is to become a superior and competitive research study program at the global level in the field of literature, language and culture of English-speaking people in 2025.

• Becoming a leading and competitive research study program at a global level in the fields of literature, language and culture of English-speaking communities in 2025.
• Carry out research and scientific publications in the fields of language, literature, and culture of English-speaking communities.
• Establish cooperation in the fields of language, literature and culture in the context of developing study programs.
• Improving professionalism, capability, accountability in study program management.

Goals

The objectives of the UNDIP Faculty of Cultural Sciences Bachelor of English Literature Study Program are:

• Producing graduates who are able to compete and have the personality of the Indonesian nation;
• Mastering knowledge and skills in the fields of language, literature and culture of the English-speaking community;
• Mastering the application of science, culture and skills in the form of work in the fields of language, literature and culture of the English-speaking community;
• Realizing the attitude of working in concrete actions in the fields of language, and literature, and culture of the English-speaking community;
