One of the students of the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Diponegoro, Alya Nurul Izzaty, has made a brilliant achievement in the field of singing. This third-semester student is known to have really liked singing since she was little. This is proven by several of her singing achievements. Alya often takes part in singing activities such as taking part in competitions and performing at events. Recently, Alya made Diponegoro University proud by successfully qualifying for a talent search event held by the television station RCTI. The event is Indonesian Idol Season 12 and The Indonesian Next Big Star Season 2.
When taking part in Indonesian Idol Season 12, Alya succeeded in qualifying for the top 30 out of almost one million people who auditioned for Indonesian Idol, both offline and online. Even though her steps had to stop in the Elimination Round 3 of Sing For Your Life, Alya achieved a brilliant achievement by being in the Top 30. Because of this, Alya is increasingly known by the Indonesian people and she is often invited as a guest star at various events, both campus and off-campus events.

In 2023, after Indonesian Idol Season 12, Alya took part again in another talent search event that was held on the same TV station. From August to October 2023, Alya took part in The Indonesian Next Big Star which invited national and international judges, Rossa, Judika, Marion Jola, Maia Estianty, DK, and Bobby iKON. Alya appeared with a new name, “Alizza”. In the live show round, Alya or Alizza always amazed the audience and judges with her performance. Her performances that appeared on YouTube, TikTok, and other social media viewers are always the most watched. Alya even had the chance to dance with international judges from K-pop boy group, DK and Bobby iKON. Alya’s journey in The Indonesian Next Big Star took her to the Road To Grand Final round and became the Top 5 of The Indonesian Next Big Star Season 2.

While taking part in the competition on national television, several people also knew that Alya came from Diponegoro University, Semarang. Alya is a student at Diponegoro University that selected by SBUB (Seleksi Bibit Unggul Berprestasi) and now she is also an awardee of scholarship Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia from Kemendikbud.
